2.3 Runners are able to enter the following Stage distances, subject to availability: Marathon, 10km, 5km. Not all distances will be available on all days of the Event due to the nature of the route, and the distances given may only be approximate.
2.4 Runners will, in all categories, need to maintain the same running pace as their fellow runners and specifically with Richard Whitehead at all times during the Stage. Runners must at all times maintain their running position behind Richard Whitehead as specified in their briefing, and not attempt to overtake or run alongside him at any time, unless expressly asked to do so by Run Across Britain event representatives.
2.5 A Runner who is not able to maintain the same pace (based on approximately 5hr marathon pace, 9.5 mins per mile for 5km, and 10 mins per mile for 10km) will be issued with two verbal requests to change/increase their pace. Compliance with this process by Runners is a condition of entry and participation. Pacing figures are estimates and may change on the specific day. Run Across Britain representatives reserve the right to provide only one verbal request before a Runner is required to join the support vehicle due to ensuring the health and safety of all runners at that time.

3.6 The Runner confirms without reservation that he/she is in a good physical condition to participate in the Event, that he/she understands the endurance demands of the Event, and will not arrive at the Event in ill health or unfit to take part.
3.7 The Runner confirms that he/she will not publish or post on any website or other media operated by Run Across Britain or related to the Event any text, statement, photograph, image or other material which is obscene, blasphemous, defamatory, infringes the intellectual property or other legal rights of any third party or is otherwise unlawful, offensive or inappropriate. Run Across Britain will have the right to remove any material at its discretion and take appropriate legal action against any person found to be or alleged to be in breach of this clause 3.7.
3.8 The Runner’s travel to and from the start and finish of their participant stage of the Event each day shall be entirely at his/her own risk and cost.
